We Must Engineer.

Across history, challenges of all scales have emerged, and coordinated design and execution has overcome many of them. Newer ages bring with them newer challenges, and so the cycle continues.

This age itself presents pressures of much larger scales and much greater variety. Technological, societal, echological, political, existential even. They too must be met with deliberate, durable and scalable solutions. We must engineer our way through them.

There is a universality in how applicable engineering can be to a wide class of problems. Enduring and creative system-design and problem-solving is the foundation upon which the 21st Century was built - and to reach the 22nd, we must deliver even greater systems.

The future belongs to everyone, to people of all backgrounds, and to flora and fauna alike. It must be built equitably and sustainably. And despite the magnitude of the challenges approaching, it can very well well be achieved.

Let us engineer the same.
